About Susie

Hi, I’m Susie, the heart and hands behind Cards and Crafts by Susie.

I’m a proud mum of three gorgeous children, and my greatest joy is raising them to be kind, thoughtful and well-mannered human beings with strong values (even if our house can feel a little loud and chaotic at times!). My husband works long hours, so most days I’m flying solo, juggling mum life, school runs, dinner prep and everything in between.

Cards and Crafts by Susie was born from my love of handmade details and meaningful moments. I truly believe a handmade card says something a text message never could. It shows effort. It shows thought. It shows love.

Every card, craft kit and activity box I create is designed with care right here in Australia. Whether it’s a wedding card, a sympathy card, a birthday card or a DIY craft kit, I want it to feel special, like something you’d be proud to give and spread a little bit of joy each time someone receives a handmade card or craft from me.

As my small business has grown, I’ve been incredibly proud to join beautiful local collectives including Lemon Fizz Collective and Harbour Collective. Seeing my handmade cards displayed in store, restocking shelves, and connecting with customers in person has been such a rewarding part of this journey. Supporting local and being part of a creative community means so much to me.

I also know how busy life can be. Between work, kids, family and everything else, finding time to be creative or organise a celebration isn’t always easy. That’s why I love creating ready-to-use craft kits and beautiful handmade cards that help you celebrate life’s moments without the stress.

When I’m not making cards or packing orders, you’ll usually find me curled up on the couch watching Netflix, or soaking up family time, whether that’s a day out together or just a movie night at home.
